Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Coordinator to join our team at Peco Foods. As a Medical Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing medical care to employees, including first aid and evaluation and treatment of injuries and illnesses. You will also assist in the coordination of compliance with workplace health policies and procedures, including scheduling hearing vans and fit testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care to employees, including first aid and evaluation and treatment of injuries and illnesses
  • Assist in the coordination of compliance with workplace health policies and procedures
  • Check, order, and restock supplies for the Medical Department
  • Transport employees needing medical care to the Emergency Room on an emergency basis only
  • Assist in record keeping of Worker's Compensation and OSHA reports
  • Perform clerical duties, including answering the telephone and taking messages
  • Assist with wellness and other special programs administered by the Medical Department
  • Obtain alcohol and drug tests as needed for both regular and DOT employees
  • Assist in preparation of FMLA
  • Refer employees needing skilled nursing care to the Safety Manager/RN

Requirements:

  • State license for RN/LPN/Paramedic/EMT
  • CPR certification
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Basic computer skills
  • Bilingual or conversational Spanish preferred
