About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Expert to join our team at Lynch Consultants. As a key member of our Resource Advisory practice, you will play a critical role in providing IT financial and budgetary support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Determine the feasibility of automating government financial business practices and support the definition of government financial business practices.
  • Budgetary Support: Assist in planning and executing agency budgetary resources, including assistance in establishing budget controls and budget loads into the agency's financial system.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Support the reporting of IT Exhibit 53's and 300's, administer and execute quarterly and annual commitment and obligation plans, and assist in developing reports and supporting budget execution reviews.
  • Financial Analysis and Execution: Provide input to the formulation and justification of assigned programs for the POM, BES, and President's Budget exhibits, and support financial analysis and execution reports as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of experience providing IT budgetary services to IT management and technical staff in a federal IT organization.
  • Skills: Proficient skills and capabilities in Microsoft Office suite of applications/tools, especially MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS SharePoint. Familiarity and some experience utilizing ServiceNow, PowerBI, and Tableau.
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Federal OCIO: 2 years of experience providing IT budgetary services in a Federal OCIO.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree.
