Key Responsibilities:
Our financial management consultants assist federal clients in enhancing the efficiency of their finance departments. This includes managing intra-governmental payments and collections, government-wide treasury account symbol reporting, and annual financial reporting, all while adapting to the evolving demands of federal financial reporting.
This accounting operations team collaborates with a federal CFO organization to maintain business functions and refine processes over time, working closely with the broader project team.
The project team is engaged with the Department of Justice (DOJ) Asset Forfeiture Program, where the role focuses on supporting the financial operations unit.
The individual will gain insights into federal accounting and financial procedures, collaborating with district offices and headquarters to process, reconcile, and analyze financial transactions.
The candidate should possess a solid understanding of accounting and financial processes and will be tasked with managing substantial volumes of data using Excel, financial systems, or other databases.

Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public TrustBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Analytics, or a related fieldAt least 1 year of experience in financial management, accounting, or business management
Preferred Qualifications:
Interest in pursuing CPA, CGFM, or similar credentialsDesire to build a career in Federal financial management consultingFamiliarity with federal financial statements, monthly treasury reporting (GTAS), and USSGLKnowledge of intragovernmental transactions, budgetary accounting, proprietary accounting, and government accounting posting logic
