What Financial Planning & Analysis Delivers at Cardinal Health

The Finance department is responsible for managing the organization's accounting, taxation, financial strategies, and policies. It establishes and maintains fiscal oversight, prepares and interprets financial statements, and ensures the protection of the organization's assets.

Financial Planning & Analysis serves as a strategic ally, providing objective insights to various business units. It spearheads collaborative initiatives aimed at generating forward-looking, actionable insights that drive strategic value and influence critical business decisions.

Position Overview

+ Reports directly to the Manager of FP&A within the Pharma segment, engaging closely with the Segment FP&A and Pharma Finance teams.

+ Collaborates with the Pharma Leadership team and Cost Center managers throughout the Pharma segment.

+ Offers financial assistance for the reporting of USPD Commercial and Pharma Functional SG&A and Capital, including the formulation of new business cases to back strategic investments and initiatives.

+ Provides financial support for PD Marketing services related to the Pharma segment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Aids in essential planning and reporting processes (Monthly results reviews, Forecasts, SFP, AOP, Earnings).

+ Develops and maintains real-time updates on performance metrics, implications, and suggested actions.

+ Assists in preparing materials for executive leadership, including financial analysis and commentary for the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors.

+ Adopts a process improvement approach to enhance efficiencies across various work areas.

+ Acts as a responsible financial steward with a holistic perspective, ensuring robust controls are in place to protect the company's assets.

Qualifications

+ A minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role is preferred.

+ At least 2 years in FP&A roles, ideally in a leadership capacity within a large, complex organization.

+ Bachelor's degree required; MBA is strongly preferred.

+ Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Anticipated salary range: $78,500 - $112,100. Bonus eligibility: No.
