Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Resident Coordinator to join our team at Urby. As the face of our community, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our brand, and ensuring a seamless living experience for our residents.

Key ResponsibilitiesHospitality
  • Welcome residents and new prospects with a warm and genuine smile, setting the tone for a positive experience.
  • Oversee the lobby and café areas to maintain our brand standards, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Assist with various tasks, including rearranging books and game pieces, wiping down tables, and removing garbage.
  • Help walk-in guests with leasing information, appointments, and other inquiries.
Resident Engagement
  • Promote Urby events and local vendors, providing residents with the best recommendations and experiences.
  • Encourage residents to leave Google reviews, and assist with troubleshooting work orders and maintenance requests.
  • Maintain safety and security protocols, ensuring the well-being of our residents and staff.
  • Coordinate move-ins, direct elevator usage, and complete move-in inspections.
  • Assist with new resident orientation, lockout issues, and other resident needs.
Packages and Deliveries
  • Assist delivery vendors with package loading and unloading.
  • Sign for, scan, log, sort, and store incoming packages, maintaining organization and efficiency.
  • Notify residents of package availability and assist with garage parking management.
  • Reprogram garage access cards and update resident vehicle information.
Communication
  • Ensure effective communication with residents, management, and the RC team, relaying important information and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain resident confidentiality and respond to complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Prepare and send shift reports, highlighting important incidents and resident interactions.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service, communicating with other employees and departments to ensure a seamless experience.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in person, in writing, and by telephone.
  • Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet, with a guest-service oriented mindset.
  • Adherence to uniform, grooming, and personal hygiene standards.
  • Frequent standing, carrying, and lifting of items up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to operate various property management systems.
