Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate front-line customer service activities, including in-person and telephone information services.
  • Schedule interviews for prospective students and provide guidance on the admissions process.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of campus visits, open houses, and other events.
  • Work with external vendors and campus departments to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Streamline major campus-wide events available to prospective students.
  • Respond to and track reservations for on-campus admissions events.
  • Review and respond to emails from students and families regarding programs and procedures.
  • Research and resolve issues, referring problems to administrative and counseling staff when necessary.
  • Participate in hiring and training of student aides.
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the Admissions Office and Welcome Center.
  • Coordinate the effective flow of activities within the Welcome Center.
  • Serve as backup administrator for Enterprise Rental cars.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate's degree or vocational school degree preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of work-related experience is required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
  • Knowledge of Google Suite (gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and calendar).
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational abilities and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across departments and offices.
