Key Responsibilities
The Placement Coordinator will:
- Collaborate with Parole Officers to assess and determine appropriate placements for participants.
- Work alongside the Transportation Coordinator to ensure seamless transportation to community-based programs.
- Assist in tracking and monitoring referrals from Parole Officers.
- Conduct assessments to identify individual needs for successful placement.
- Engage with community-based providers to facilitate program reception.
- Address concerns from Agents and maintain effective communication with correctional facilities.
- Ensure participants have necessary medications and supplies before entering programs.
- Complete required documentation and reports as mandated.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in case management, particularly with criminal justice populations, is preferred.
- Understanding of cognitive behavioral therapy and addiction theories.
- Knowledge of the California Treatment Initiative and the reentry treatment continuum.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to interpret legal documents and write routine reports.
- Skills to establish rapport with participants and manage crisis situations effectively.
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software.
