We are seeking a highly skilled Automation and Data Specialist to join our Operational Excellence team at Delta Star, a leading manufacturer of medium power transformers and mobile transformer substations.
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement in our production processes by leveraging your expertise in industrial automation, data collection, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Process Optimization: Collaborate with management and manufacturing teams to identify areas for improvement in data gathering, connectivity, processing, and usage.
- Automation and Data Collection: Act as a liaison between product design engineering and production teams, supporting new software implementation, industrial automation, and data collection and analysis.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient with Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Programming knowledge in Python, SQL, and/or similar languages.
- Business Acumen: Basic knowledge of ERP system, knowledge of Microsoft D365 will be an asset.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and people skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize tasks and conduct root cause analysis.
