Avionics Systems Specialist

As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for installing and testing complex avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft. You will also comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures, perform and document all work per appropriate manuals and regulations, and remove, repair, and reinstall any problematic avionics equipment before the aircraft is cleared.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 1 year of work experience or substantiated equivalent experience. Corporate jet aircraft or commercial aircraft experience is preferred, as is military aircraft maintenance experience. You will also need a high school diploma or equivalent and a FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or Airframe (A) License. Additionally, you will need to be comfortable working with technology and entering aircraft maintenance actions into a computer-based system, and have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
