Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and oversee the maintenance and capital improvement needs of our properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance leadership and a proven track record of success in managing maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor the maintenance team to ensure high-quality work and excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the most economical, proper, and safe condition of our properties.
  • Inspect properties and common areas daily to detect maintenance problems and coordinate repairs.
  • Manage maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and extend the life of our assets.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Community Director.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within residential property management.
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate required. Industry certification or designation (CAMT, NAHMS, NAHMT) preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and comply with FPI's facial hair policy.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in hotel maintenance, facilities maintenance, or construction.
  • Industry certification or designation (CAMT, NAHMS, NAHMT).
  • Proficient in Google Drive, Google Mail (GMail), and internet use.
