Job Summary:The Healthcare Technology Management Supervisor at John Muir Health is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HTM Department, ensuring the safety, functionality, and reliability of all medical equipment. This role involves supervising a team of biomedical engineers and technicians, managing equipment maintenance schedules, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The supervisor will collaborate closely with clinical staff to address equipment issues, support new technology implementations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the hospital. Additionally, the supervisor is expected to perform light preventive maintenance/technical tasks as well as be part of on-call rotation. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of biomedical engineers and technicians.
  • Manage equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct performance evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or higher in a related field.
  • 5 years of hospital experience.
  • 3 years of management experience.
  • AAMI-CBET certification or obtained within 12 months of employment.

Compensation:

$73.09 - $98.66 HourlyNote: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.Scheduled Weekly Hours:40
