Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of biomedical engineers and technicians to ensure efficient equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Develop and implement equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations to assess team members' skills and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, such as FDA and ISO, to maintain a safe and effective healthcare environment.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to address equipment issues, support new technology implementations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform light preventive maintenance and technical tasks as needed, and participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or higher in a related field, such as biomedical engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of hospital experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • AAMI-CBET certification or equivalent, with the ability to obtain within 12 months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and technical expertise, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:Exempt, 40 hours per week, with a pay range of $98.66 per hour.
