About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Santa Barbara Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient experiences from scheduling to check-in.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Greet patients and visitors with a friendly demeanor, assist with scheduling, and manage patient flow to reduce wait times.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Answer phones promptly, schedule appointments, and optimize patient satisfaction and provider time.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepare daily schedules, collect patient financial responsibility, prepare patient charts, and maintain the reception area in a neat and orderly condition.
  • Communication: Maintain professional relationships with referring offices, ensure confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA, and perform other related duties as assigned.
