Position Overview

We are seeking a Client Accountant to become a vital member of our Client Financial Solutions team. This role involves:

  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reports to clients, including Trial Balance and VAT reports. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Financial Controls: Monitor key performance indicators for client portfolios and proactively address any issues. Ensure timely completion of control account reconciliations and maintain oversight of funding levels.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in regular meetings with finance and surveyor teams to address concerns and meet client expectations. Foster strong relationships with the portfolio finance team and other relevant departments.
  • Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Address day-to-day inquiries from clients and tenants, support property transitions, and perform additional accounting tasks as required.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong bookkeeping capabilities.
  • Proficient Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables and V-Lookup.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Flexibility and the capacity to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Initiative to resolve daily challenges independently.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • AAT qualification or progress towards a recognized accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
  • Familiarity with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as knowledge of client systems such as Yardi, MRI, or Horizon.
