Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Supervisor to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our store, including administrative tasks, customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive store environment
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling, expense account monitoring, and supply inventory
  • Support the Operations Assistant Store Manager with scheduling, expense account monitoring, and supply inventory
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date associate personnel files
  • Perform daily cash office functions and maintain cash office standards
  • Ensure store team executes tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritize as needed
  • Communicate effectively with management and associates when setting and addressing priorities; provide progress updates
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
  • Partner with management on associate training needs to increase effectiveness
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store
Requirements
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Capable of multi-tasking
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
  • Able to train others
  • 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience

This position has a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
