Job Overview

Purpose

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will engage with departmental leaders consistently to proactively determine future hiring requirements. This role will also focus on attracting candidates through various channels, including social media platforms, job boards, and employee referrals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to create customized sourcing strategies that yield a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Promote and implement best practices in hiring throughout the candidate evaluation process while enhancing the candidate experience.
  • Evaluate candidates by reviewing resumes and applications, conducting preliminary phone interviews.
  • Craft job postings, detailed job descriptions, and specific position requirements.
  • Conduct reference checks as necessary.
  • Oversee the offer process by presenting job offers and negotiating employment terms.
  • Manage the entire interview, selection, and closing process.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Assess applicants by discussing job specifications and qualifications with managers and interviewing candidates based on a consistent set of criteria.
  • Serve as a mentor for other members of the recruitment team.
  • Meet monthly hiring objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with three to five years of experience in recruitment is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Essential Skills
  • 5-10 years of experience in full life-cycle recruiting for both exempt and non-exempt positions, managing multiple high-volume roles simultaneously.
  • Strong proficiency in applicant tracking systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of utilizing job boards, social media, and college recruitment platforms.
  • Effective pre-screening abilities.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, organizational skills, and project management capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions

This position is primarily office-based, characterized by:
  • Predominantly indoor work during the day, with occasional evening responsibilities.
  • Minor exposure to airborne dust in the workplace.
  • Stable work surfaces.
