Job Overview

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a pivotal role in collaborating with departmental leaders to identify and anticipate future hiring needs. This position is responsible for attracting top-tier candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, and employee referrals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business leaders to create customized sourcing strategies that ensure a diverse and qualified talent pipeline.
  • Promote and implement best practices in hiring processes while enhancing the candidate experience.
  • Evaluate candidates by reviewing resumes, conducting phone screenings, and assessing qualifications.
  • Draft job postings, detailed job descriptions, and position specifications.
  • Conduct reference checks as necessary.
  • Oversee the offer process, including extending offers and negotiating employment terms.
  • Manage the entire interview, selection, and closing process effectively.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Assess applicants by discussing job requirements and qualifications with hiring managers and interviewing candidates consistently.
  • Provide mentorship to other members of the recruitment team.
  • Achieve monthly hiring objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with three to five years of experience in recruitment is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Essential Skills
  • 5-10 years of experience in full life-cycle recruiting, managing multiple high-volume roles simultaneously.
  • Strong familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
  • Proficient in utilizing job boards, social media, and educational institutions for recruitment.
  • Excellent pre-screening skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, organizational skills, and project management capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions

This position is primarily office-based, characterized by:
  • Indoors during the day, with occasional evening work.
  • Minimal exposure to airborne dust.
  • Stable work surfaces.
