Pharmacy Operations Manager

Role Summary:
The Pharmacy Operations Manager is tasked with the design, execution, and oversight of all clinical pharmacy initiatives, including but not limited to drug consultations, nutritional support, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulant monitoring, pain management, and renal dosing. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all programs align with patient needs and adhere to established guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance activities are completed in a timely manner, fostering a culture of accountability.
- Lead and inspire organizational change, addressing concerns and resistance effectively.
- Manage ambiguity by evaluating the impact and risks associated with new initiatives.
- Identify and implement new clinical services as required, staying ahead of future trends.
- Utilize analytical methods to propose effective solutions to complex challenges.
- Collaborate with the Medical Executive Committee and other oversight groups to drive initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as an Acute Care Pharmacist is required.
- Leadership experience is not mandatory; retail pharmacy experience is not applicable.
- Experience must be within an acute care hospital setting; PGY2 residency in administration may substitute for acute care experience.
- Must hold a valid Pharmacist license in the state of Florida.
