Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Client Service Representative to join our team at Health Care for the Homeless Inc. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service to clients, staff, and visitors, ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client intake, registration, and discharge processes, ensuring accurate and efficient completion of required information.
  • Provide telephone triage, disseminate messages, and prioritize calls in accordance with agency protocols.
  • Process release of information requests, receive and distribute PHI, and maintain confidentiality in all circumstances.
  • Support the achievement of department goals and objectives, adhering to policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, modeling the agency's core values of dignity, authenticity, hope, justice, passion, and balance.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One year of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting.
  • Experience working with people who are experiencing homelessness or from low-income backgrounds.
  • Experience working with computers and databases, preferably medical or insurance systems.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred.
