About the Role:
The Procurement Coordinator plays a vital role in assisting the purchasing department and field teams by performing various administrative and clerical tasks as assigned by the Purchasing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the purchasing team with administrative tasks.
  • Maintain subcontractor and supplier insurance records.
  • Distribute new vendor and subcontractor packages.
  • Assist in the bidding process for new projects.
  • Coordinate with the Accounting Department to ensure timely payments to subcontractors.
  • Input data into JD Edwards and manage document distribution.
  • Order appliances for various communities.
  • Prepare and distribute bidding packages for new developments.
  • Provide backup support for receptionist duties.
  • Compile weekly production reports.
  • Assist in field operations administration.
  • Prepare correspondence for various stakeholders as needed.
  • Audit and track contractor license information for trade partners.
  • Maintain and update trade partner and bid lists.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred.
  • At least 2 years of office or administrative experience.
  • Proficient in software applications such as JD Edwards, Auto CAD, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:
This position primarily involves office work, requiring the ability to sit for extended periods and perform tasks such as filing and copying. The role may also involve lifting items up to 50 pounds and requires finger dexterity for computer use.
