Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit RN

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit at John Muir Health. As a RN in this unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients with complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including those with heart failure, coronary artery disease, and cardiac arrhythmias.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum 1000 hours of experience in a Registered Nurse role in an acute care facility within the last 24 months.
- Current RN licensure in California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Approved Cardiac Rhythm Test certification.
- Demonstrated experience in cardiac pharmacology, vasoactive therapy, and emergency interventions.
- Maintains ongoing competency requirements for stroke care.
This is a full-time position working 12-hour night shifts. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
