John Muir Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a compassionate healing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, delegate, and coordinate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models to deliver exceptional care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- At least 1000 hours of experience in a registered nurse role in an acute care facility with medical and cardiac patients within the last 24 months.
- Current RN license in California.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Approved Cardiac Rhythm Test certification.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale certification.
- Demonstrated expertise in cardiac pharmacology, vasoactive therapy, and emergency interventions.
- Ongoing competency in stroke care.
