{"h2":{"text":"Job Summary"},"p":{"text":"As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex medical conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
* Utilize evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models to ensure high-quality patient care
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

* Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
* 1000 hours of experience in a Registered Nurse role in an acute care facility with medical and cardiac patients within the last 24 months
* Current RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing licensure
* BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association certification
* ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association certification
* Approved Cardiac Rhythm Test - Must Pass at time of hire (Required if hired after 11/15/2018)
* NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale certification

Work Environment:

* 12-hour shifts, days
* 36 scheduled weekly hours
* Exempt position

Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
