  • Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
  • 1000 hours of experience in a Registered Nurse role in an acute care facility with medical and cardiac patients within the last 24 months
  • RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing
  • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
  • ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association
  • Approved Cardiac Rhythm Test
  • NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated understanding of cardiac pharmacology, vasoactive therapy, temporary and permanent pacemakers, and emergency interventions
  • Maintains on-going competency requirements for stroke care
