RN - Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit Nurse - Full Time - 12 Hour - Nights

John Muir Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and individualized care plans.
- Assess patient needs and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- At least 1000 hours of experience in a registered nurse role in an acute care facility with medical and cardiac patients within the last 24 months.
- Current RN license in the state of California.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Approved Cardiac Rhythm Test certification.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac pharmacology, vasoactive therapy, temporary and permanent pacemakers, and emergency interventions.
- Maintains ongoing competency requirements for stroke care.
This is a full-time position working 12-hour night shifts. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills.
