As a Verizon Customer Service Trainee, you will take charge of your own career advancement. - Utilizing targeted marketing lists to identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Offering customers products and solutions that enhance and streamline their daily lives
- Managing sales orders, modifications, installation schedules, and cancellations
- Delivering product sales and support to customers, fellow Verizon Customer Service Trainees, and our external sales team
- Executing tasks such as developing marketing initiatives, participating in live events, and following up on customer registrations
- Thriving in a collaborative, competitive atmosphere
- Collaborating with the account team to foster growth and retention of client accounts
Qualifications for the Verizon Customer Service Trainee:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory
- 1 – 3 years of experience in customer service, sales, retail, or hospitality sectors
- Consistently reliable transportation is essential
- Effective communication skills, active listening, and problem-solving abilities
- Capability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong sales acumen and the ability to navigate objections
