Position Overview

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional on-site assistance to clients, ensuring their systems are installed, serviced, and repaired efficiently. Your role will involve:

  • Providing direct client support, including the installation and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Conducting quality assessments of system equipment prior to deployment.
  • Addressing and resolving customer inquiries related to hardware installation, repairs, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Collaborating with relevant personnel and service areas for effective follow-up, testing, and troubleshooting.
Networking Support

In this role, you will also provide essential Eye and Hands networking support, working closely with network engineers to facilitate onsite network assistance.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in field support.
  • Proficiency in hardware and software installation, support, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Office 365.
  • Skills in configuring new PCs and notebooks through SCCM imaging.
  • Experience in ticket management systems.
  • Knowledge of iOS devices.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Work Environment

This position is set in an office environment, with responsibilities including:

  • Providing support for walk-up kiosks.
  • Managing vending and locker resupply.
Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, experience with MAC iOS systems is highly regarded.
