ABOUT THE ROLE

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Manufacturing or a related field.
  • Expertise in manufacturing engineering, process design, measurement, and optimization.
  • Experience in operations or production management is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates with 3 to 7 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering are encouraged to apply, even without prior management experience, provided they demonstrate strong leadership potential.
  • A solid grasp of high-volume discrete manufacturing systems and advanced technologies.
  • Familiarity with wood products manufacturing is a plus, though not essential.
  • Certification or proven proficiency in Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with CAD and statistical process control software is beneficial.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills.
  • The ideal candidate will be assertive, results-driven, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional-level bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
