Job Summary:

St. Luke's Hospital is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing scheduled electrical preventive maintenance, repairs to all types of electrical equipment, and electrical installation on projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform outlined preventive maintenance on electrical equipment as scheduled in accordance with hospital standards.
  • Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
  • Perform all electrical work in the hospital, including installation of new project work.
  • Record and maintain daily records of work performed in a legible fashion to ensure proper procedures are fulfilled and properly recorded.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of trade school or minimum of three years electrical and mechanical experience preferred.

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

Requires standing for up to eight hours per day and walking for up to four hours per day. Moderate physical effort lifting loads up to 60 lbs., and pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs. Must possess the ability to climb up to 30 feet, bend, kneel for extended periods of time, crouch, twist, sit, reach, and walk several flights of stairs.

Education and Training:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of trade school or minimum of three years electrical and mechanical experience preferred.
