**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist II PRN to join our team in the Operating Room at St. Mark's Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist II PRN, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist staff during operative and invasive procedures, ensuring high-quality patient-centered care.
- Prepare the operating room for procedures, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Act as a preceptor for other surgical technologists, sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping and Central Processing staff to clean the Operating Rooms and equipment between patients, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in safety initiatives to ensure correct patient identification, verification of procedures, and accurate sponge and instrument counts.
- Follow patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, universal precautions, and isolation procedures.
- Assist the patient care team in maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and organized patient care environment.
