About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our surgical procedures by maintaining a safe and sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room and all surgical equipment to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
  • Assist the surgical team during procedures, including preparing patients, setting up equipment, and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
  • Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician program (ORT) or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the surgical team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
