Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Centura Health Corporation - 1050 E S Temple St. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgical teams during operative procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring the availability of necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Prepare and sterilize equipment and supplies, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and nurses to anticipate and address potential complications during procedures, demonstrating effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of evidence-based practices and protocols to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements
  • One year of experience in a surgical setting is preferred, with a strong background in sterile processing and surgical support.
  • Basic computer skills are required, with the ability to navigate electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
