Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at St. Mark's Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, including equipment and supplies
  • Count and verify surgical instruments and sponges to ensure patient safety
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
  • Surgical Technologist Certificate preferred (CST) or equivalent
  • Completion of surgical technologist course or comparable experience
  • One year operating room experience preferred
