Principal Vehicle Engineering Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Vehicle Engineering Project Manager to join our team at IT Motives. This is a critical role that will lead the development and implementation of vehicle engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement vehicle engineering projects, including procurement, installation, testing, and start-up.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including rail operations, engineering, and construction teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Administer contracts, monitor progress, and report on quality of work to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Perform engineering analyses, write technical reports, and make recommendations to support project decisions.
- Represent the company at interagency meetings and proceedings as a technical expert.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Rail Vehicle, or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer registration in the State of Oregon is desired.
- Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
- At least six years of experience in project management or engineering, with two years in transportation, rail/bus transit, or aerospace/automotive experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
