Public School-Based BCBA Position

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as a Public School-Based BCBA. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in supporting the behavioral service needs of schools, classrooms, and students in the Red Clay Consolidated School District.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school professionals to develop and implement behavioral support plans for students.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior support plans (BSPs) to address challenging behaviors.
  • Provide training and support to school staff on behavioral interventions and strategies.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform behavioral support plans and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of behavioral support plans.
Requirements:
  • Current, non-restricted certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • At least two years of verified BCBA experience providing behavioral consultative services to children with special needs.
  • First-hand experience conducting FBAs and creating BSPs for students.
  • Experience teaching and supporting functional communication and social skills.
  • Compliance with additional state and district-specific requirements as needed.
