Job Title: Tableau Developer

We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our team at Core Software Technologies Inc. As a Tableau Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and visually appealing dashboards using Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Visualization: Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards using Tableau, and design and implement charts, graphs, maps, and other visualization elements to effectively communicate data insights.
  • Data Connection and Integration: Connect Tableau to various data sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud-based repositories, and work with data engineers to ensure seamless integration of data into Tableau.
  • Data Preparation: Clean, transform, and preprocess raw data to make it suitable for analysis and visualization within Tableau.
  • Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards that meet business requirements, and implement user interactivity and dynamic features to enhance user experience.
  • Custom Calculations: Create calculated fields and custom formulas to perform advanced data manipulations and calculations.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau dashboards and reports for performance, especially when dealing with large datasets.
  • User Training and Support: Provide training sessions to end-users on how to interact with and interpret Tableau dashboards, and offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to Tableau users.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Data Security: Implement and adhere to data security measures within Tableau to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Automation: Develop and implement automated processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks within Tableau.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.).
  • Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles.
  • Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and database systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with other business intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
  • Certification in Tableau.
