About the Role

This position provides customer care to vulnerable communities in America who need to navigate complex healthcare plans. Maximus offers paid, comprehensive training to equip customer service representatives with the necessary knowledge and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service for basic and routine inquiries and problems via multiple channels.
  • Use computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting.
  • Follow policies and standard operating procedures, including filling out timesheets and adhering to privacy and HIPAA rules.
  • Utilize standard technology, such as telephones, emails, and web browsers, to perform job duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience.
  • Ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to organize simultaneous tasks.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.

Working Environment

This is an on-site position, requiring physical presence at the worksite for effective collaboration, communication, and supervision. Remote or at-home work options are not available for this role until completion of at least one year of employment with above-average performance.
