Position Overview:

The Marketing Process Improvement Specialist will be responsible for evaluating and enhancing current marketing workflows and performance metrics. This role involves maintaining comprehensive documentation of process enhancements and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough data collection, root cause assessments, and develop actionable improvement strategies.
  • Identify and document interdependencies between existing and new processes, pinpointing areas for enhancement.
  • Act as a change facilitator, guiding business stakeholders through the transition to improved operational methodologies.
  • Deliver training and support to stakeholders and management regarding updates and enhancements to processes and guidelines.
  • Mentor team members, fostering a collaborative environment (note: this role does not include direct reports).
  • Recognize potential challenges and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within business processes.
  • Ensure the governance and quality of all process outputs within a centralized repository.
  • Implement change management practices, assessing the impact of modifications and securing formal approvals from all impacted stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience collaborating with Marketing, Marketing Operations, Brand, and Creative teams.
  • Proven expertise in business process enhancement methodologies (DMAIC); Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN, EPC, BPEL) and proficiency in process documentation, mapping, and design.
  • Ability to create detailed process flow diagrams, document key performance indicators, and conduct cost/benefit analyses.
  • Capability to comprehend and leverage technical concepts for process innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Experience in designing target operating models that align with strategic, customer, and business needs, utilizing data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management, analytical thinking, workshop facilitation, interviewing, project management, and creative problem-solving.
  • A collaborative team player with a proven track record of influencing various business functions within an organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment, working with colleagues to drive initiatives to successful completion in a dynamic, matrixed setting.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Lucidchart, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office Suite, and other process mapping and analysis software.
  • Experience with Process Mining tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with design thinking principles is an added advantage.
