Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Lead Engineer for Enterprise Incident Management to join our team at Kellton. This role is fully remote and offers a long-term contract opportunity.

About the Role:

The primary responsibility of the Lead Engineer is to enhance incident management processes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and swift restoration of services. You will be instrumental in integrating and automating incident management tools, responding to incidents, and effectively communicating during the resolution process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee incident management processes and ensure effective communication during incidents.
  • Collaborate with application development teams to ensure environments are operational and meet design specifications.
  • Conduct operational excellence reviews post-incident to identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Utilize your expertise in cloud infrastructure to troubleshoot and resolve incidents efficiently.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A comprehensive understanding of troubleshooting within cloud environments.
  • Experience in incident response, particularly within AWS.
  • Strong background in DevOps methodologies and collaboration with software engineering teams.
  • 7+ years of experience in operations, incident response, or DevOps.
  • Proven leadership experience in high-performance, cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and experience with API integrations and automation.
