Position Overview: Trusted Concepts, a division of Two Six Technologies, is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with a robust background in AWS cloud system implementation within CI/CD frameworks. This position will focus on Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Mission Capabilities and Systems, where you will create highly available and cost-effective solutions that emphasize DevSecOps pipelines and microservices architecture within Kubernetes environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert analysis, recommendations, and prototypes tailored to open and well-architected cloud systems, software modernization, API development, system automation, and SIGINT mission integration.
  • Design and automate software for new, migrated, and re-hosted cloud-enabled mission capabilities utilizing CI/CD pipelines deployed on cloud and Kubernetes.
  • Lead efforts to modernize and consolidate legacy system components into more efficient cloud solutions, optimizing Kubernetes deployments to minimize costs and fulfill system maintenance needs.
  • Oversee the integration of common software, services, APIs, and applications to maximize automation and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Evaluate architectural decisions based on latency requirements, computational resources, and storage needs.
  • Advise on best practices for automatic failover, system recovery, and replication challenges.
  • Conduct system tuning and implement optimal configurations.
  • Build secure systems capable of obtaining ATO, with knowledge of the RMF process and control achievement.
  • Recommend and implement system monitoring tools to ensure performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Cloud Engineering Lead or a hands-on Cloud Architect, preferably at an enterprise level.
  • Experience leading teams to develop new, migrated, or re-hosted cloud-enabled mission capabilities or optimizing existing systems in the cloud.
  • Ability to produce and present findings and recommendations to both colleagues and senior-level clients.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud implementation (AWS Lambda).
  • 5+ years of enterprise cloud architecture experience, particularly in complex automation systems.
  • 5+ years of CI/CD experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Security+ certification within six months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current certifications such as AWS Certified Developer Associate or Solutions Architect - Associate, or Microsoft Certified Azure Developer or Solutions Architect.
  • Knowledge of ICD-503/Risk Management Framework principles and experience achieving and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO).
  • Experience with cloud-based networking infrastructure products, Authentication and Authorization (A&A), and Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC).

Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
