In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and upkeep of our organization's security infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage security infrastructure elements, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Conduct regular security evaluations and vulnerability assessments to pinpoint potential risks and weaknesses.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure adherence to industry regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor security logs and alerts to promptly identify and respond to security incidents.
  • Work alongside IT teams to integrate security measures into infrastructure design and implementation projects.
  • Engage in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery efforts.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, providing recommendations for ongoing enhancements.
  • Offer guidance and support to internal teams regarding security-related issues and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing security infrastructure within enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint security.
  • Familiarity with security standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
  • Experience with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for troubleshooting complex security challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
