Position Overview...

As we continue to expand globally, we are in search of skilled Engineers to bolster our compliance team. In this role, you will be integral to a team that manages all aspects of designing, deploying, and maintaining the global infrastructure that supports our essential services and applications. A key focus will be on ensuring Continuous Monitoring of the FedRAMP infrastructure and our clients.

This position encompasses both traditional SOC and support responsibilities. Engineers will be responsible for creating, approving, and executing changes related to both the initial deployment and ongoing management of all hardware and software utilized on production platforms. A primary duty of the team includes configuring, monitoring, and resolving platform alarms, along with providing training and assessments for rotation engineers.

Key Responsibilities...

Monitoring & Maintenance

  • Ensure proper alert configurations and maintain up-to-date local work instructions.
  • Research and define best practices for monitoring and observability.
  • Maintain configurations for scanning tools.
  • Oversee and manage the successful completion of monthly scans.
  • Propose, approve, and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.
  • Actively monitor the Network Operations Center/Security Operations Center.
  • Monitor external security notifications from vendors and recognized security organizations.
  • Participate in compliance audits and ensure completion of annual certification tasks.

Fault Management & Escalations

  • Serve as an escalation point for faults, leading investigations into incidents and completing follow-up tasks.
  • Propose preventative measures to mitigate the recurrence of issues.
  • Create, approve, and implement solutions to faults.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Review application designs and work instructions.
  • Install new services and upgrade existing services.
  • Write, approve, and execute changes of low to medium risk levels.

Customer Support

  • Resolve customer issues within agreed Service Level Agreements.
  • Respond promptly to customer alerts through various communication channels.
  • Commit to building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Candidate Profile...

  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Full Security Clearance is desirable.
  • Experience with government projects is a plus.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
