About the Role

Gotham Technology Group is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director of Enterprise Data Architecture to lead our data transformation initiatives. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing enterprise architecture principles, developing a cohesive strategy for enterprise data management and advanced analytics, and aligning with our digital transformation objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enterprise Architecture and Engineering: Validate and refine enterprise architecture and engineering principles to ensure the ongoing enablement and success of digital business initiatives.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Partner with IT and business leaders, as well as system integration partners, to deliver ERP and core platforms and integrations supporting the data and integration strategy for the enterprise.
  • Sustainable Resource and Cost Model: Ensure a sustainable resource and cost model for data and integration capabilities, both build and support.
Strategic Leadership and Program Execution
  • Modernization and Standardization: Lead the solution strategy for modernizing and standardizing core business processes, creating a scalable, data-driven growth strategy.
  • Legacy System Transition: Successfully transition from legacy ERP systems to a unified global system, ensuring seamless processes, data integration, and continuous improvement.
  • Governance and Participation: Participate in governance forums as required.
Data and Analytics Governance
  • Enterprise Data Foundation: Evolve the maturity of the enterprise data foundation, ensuring support of Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Data and Analytics Program: Strengthen the Data and Analytics (D&A) program, emphasizing governance, delivery, and the development of AI-ready data strategies and solutions.
Technical Leadership and Ongoing Delivery
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership in ongoing data, integration, and architecture workstreams.
Vendor and Resource Management
  • Vendor Management: Direct the work of the MDM Manager, Data Engineer, and Data and Analytics Lead, and outsourced data engineering partners and consultants.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years' experience in information technology with experience defining and implementing enterprise architecture principles and the ability to tailor for mid-size companies.
  • Skills and Expertise: Experience with greenfield data strategy, governance, and foundational concepts for data architecture and engineering, AI, and ML; experience with data integration architecture and engineering in a Buy and Integrate ecosystem; experience in ERP transformations, with a strong emphasis on Oracle Fusion ERP; strong understanding of Cloud ERP solutions and proficiency in Data integration with tools like MDM, Profisee, Informatica, etc.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and project teams.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in CPG, FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail, Pharma, Commercial Health industries highly preferred.
