Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives and goals.

  • Work closely with leadership, product management, marketing, and sales teams to drive this strategy and achieve commercial success.
  • Act as a data subject matter expert and public spokesperson for our clients and industry contacts.

Data Architecture:

  • Design and oversee the implementation of data architecture solutions, including data models, data storage, and data integration processes.
  • Ensure data architecture is scalable, secure, and meets compliance requirements.
  • Manage the data architecture team and firm-wide data governance approach.

Technical Architecture:

  • Create and maintain the framework for technological systems, ensuring scalability and compliance with corporate standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of technology programs, working closely with software development teams to ensure smooth system functioning.
  • Establish domain-specific standards and roadmaps aligned with enterprise standards and overall strategy.
  • Act as a strategic technology lead, driving architecture strategy and advising business teams about major IT projects.

Governance:

  • Establish and maintain data governance frameworks and policies.
  • Establish and maintain software development standards and policies.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data sources and systems.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to identify data needs and opportunities.
  • Communicate data strategy and architecture vision clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • The role will bridge the gap between management and technical teams, ensuring effective IT solutions and alignment with organizational goals.

Team Management:

  • Build and lead a high-performing data strategy and architecture team.
  • Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 10 years of experience in data management, data architecture, and data governance.
  • Proven experience in leading data strategy initiatives and managing data architecture teams.
