Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Chiller Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive mechanical services, focusing on preventative maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior HVAC Chiller Technician, your primary duties will include:

  • Performing maintenance and repairs on central plant equipment, specifically chillers of 100 tons and larger, along with motors, pumps, valves, controls, cooling towers, and other auxiliary apparatus.
  • Executing overhauls on centrifugal chillers, enhancing system performance.
  • Managing rigging operations with proficiency.
  • Collaborating with the office to ensure recommended repairs are executed from initiation to completion.
  • Being available for emergency service calls as part of the on-call rotation.
  • Conducting end-to-end testing, programming, start-ups, and commissioning of equipment.
  • Scheduling and overseeing site-wide maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks for chillers and associated equipment.
  • Carrying out daily and monthly preventative maintenance on all related systems.
  • Ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks within the designated timeframe.
  • Fostering positive relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for all on-site equipment.
  • Participating in monthly safety meetings and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Working closely with the Chiller Field Supervisor to address customer needs and opportunities.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience at the journeyman level, complemented by relevant technical education.
  • Extensive experience in commercial and industrial air conditioning.
  • In-depth knowledge of chillers, HVAC systems, and central plant operations.
  • Expertise in large tonnage HVAC systems.
  • Availability for emergency service calls as part of the on-call rotation.
  • EPA certification.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license.

Compensation and Benefits:
