Associate Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor to join our faculty in the Department of Political Science at the University of Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research, and contributing to the department's academic programs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach a range of courses in political science, including introductory courses, upper-level electives, and graduate seminars.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in top-tier journals.
- Develop and maintain a strong research program, including securing external funding and collaborating with colleagues.
- Contribute to the department's academic programs, including curriculum development and assessment.
- Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Political Science or a related field, a strong research agenda, and a commitment to teaching and mentoring students. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of publishing scholarly articles, securing external funding, and contributing to the academic community.
