Assistant Professor/Associate Professor of Nursing

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor/Associate Professor of Nursing to join our team at Augusta University College of Nursing. This is a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track position that offers a unique opportunity to teach and mentor students in our prelicensure nursing program.
Responsibilities- Participate actively in quality classroom, clinical, lab, and simulation teaching as assigned.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the College of Nursing's mission and goals.
- Provide individualized instruction and feedback to students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods.
- Contribute to the development of the College of Nursing's research agenda.
- Doctorate degree relevant to the area of practice (PhD, DNP).
- Active license to practice nursing in the state of Georgia or meet all eligibility requirements to apply for a nursing license in the state of Georgia.
- Board certification in area of specialty.
- Academic teaching experience in didactic and/or clinical instruction.
- Comfort with technology-infused engaging pedagogical strategies including simulation and other active learning modalities.
- Evidence of contribution to the profession and recognition at the local, regional, or national level.
