Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at La Clinica de Familia. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable policies and standards.
  • Assist with front office functions, including answering phones, responding to patient inquiries, and providing general administrative support.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, staff, and external partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent and/or completion of a medical terminology course.
  • One year of experience in a records department or related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
