Job Title: Senior Components Engineer

At InDepth Engineering Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Components Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our component engineering team, you will be responsible for managing electronic component selection and maintenance of our part library.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update our Arena Parts library to ensure accurate and up-to-date component information.
  • Collaborate with the component engineering team to implement multi-sourcing in our design and manufacturing flows.
  • Partner with Purchasing and Program Management teams to ensure alignment between part availability, cost, and planned build dates.
  • Support design engineering in the selection of electronic components for their applications.
  • Generate Internal Part Numbers for new part requests in the Arena PLM database.
  • Scrub Bill of Materials (BoM) to ensure compliance to application requirements.
  • Manage the supply chain lifecycle for electronic components, including EOL/LTB, PCNs, and clear to build reviews.
  • Contribute to process and workflow development between cross-functional teams.
  • Report weekly status to management on progress and highlight risks.

Requirements:

  • Experience in component engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in analyzing and evaluating new or improved electronic components.
  • Understanding of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) and ECAD tools.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of AEC-Q qualification process.
  • Electrical Engineering Design/Test background.
  • Altium experience.
