ICONMA is seeking a Senior Electronic Components Specialist who will play a crucial role in overseeing the selection and management of electronic components within our engineering team. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of components into our innovative hardware designs.


Key Responsibilities
• Maintain the Parts Library with a focus on component engineering.
• Assist the component engineering team in implementing multi-sourcing strategies throughout design and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Program Management to align component availability, pricing, and production timelines.
• Aid design engineers in selecting appropriate electronic components for diverse applications.
• Generate Internal Part Numbers for new part requests within the PLM database.
• Review and validate the Bill of Materials (BoM) to ensure compliance with application specifications (AEC-Q, Electrical/Mechanical, Temperature grade).
• Manage the lifecycle of electronic components within the supply chain (EOL/LTB, PCNs, etc.).
• Support supply chain activities during clear to build (CTB) assessments by identifying alternative components for shortages.
• Contribute to the development of processes and workflows among cross-functional teams.
• Provide weekly updates to management regarding progress on deliverables and potential risks.

Qualifications
• Proven experience in component engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Background in analyzing and assessing new or enhanced electronic components.
• Familiarity with Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) and ECAD tools (such as Altium, OrCAD) relevant to component responsibilities.

Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of the AEC-Q qualification process.
• Experience in Electrical Engineering Design/Test.
• Proficiency in Altium.
